User Story¶
As a player, I want to activate trigger mechanisms, so that I can solve environmental challenges and unlock new paths.
Description¶
- Trigger mechanisms can be physical (buttons, levers) or magical (elemental runes, sigils).
- Some mechanisms require specific spells to activate (e.g., Fire ignites a rune, Water deactivates an energy field).
- Activating a trigger may open doors, disable traps, or move platforms.
- Some triggers are timed and reset if not activated within a certain period.
- Certain puzzles require multiple activations (e.g., two switches must be pressed at the same time).
Test Cases¶
- Verify that interacting with a trigger mechanism activates the correct event.
- Ensure that elemental triggers only respond to the correct spell type.
- Confirm that timed triggers reset if not activated in time.
- Validate that trigger-based events (e.g., doors opening, platforms moving) function properly.
- Ensure that multiple activation switches work correctly for linked puzzles.
